"...this
event was a memorable one, worthy of being the
rebirth of Freestyle Walking. The year of 2005
approaches and who knows what it will bring.
Hopefully, it will bring around a new season of
Freestyle Walking, oh wouldn't that be great!"
-Excerpt from Freestyle Walking 2004
And so it has. And
it has been great. With an incredibly nice winter outside and a fiery
passion in their hearts, the Freestyle Walkers have started a memorable season.
We're talking really good winter here folks, like drought good, like... state of
emergency good...

One
state's emergency disaster is another man's Freestyle Walking adventure!
So it seemed to be the perfect
opportunity to go Freestyle Walking, but where would it take place? The
many locations that the FSWers have been to before were starting to loose their
sizzle, and options were running low. The first day began quite slowly.
Gavin, Matt, and Jaybird drove around the Federal Way/Des Moines area, unable to
find any good FSW locations. Their hopes of a great FSW season were
shrinking, until the three stumbled upon a triage of schools, consisting of an
elementary school, a junior high, and Mt. Rainier High School. They
decided this would be the perfect place to kick off the FSW Season.

They were ready for action! They
found a couple rocks laughing at them... mocking them... with their rockiness...
so the FSWers destroyed them!!
